TFI Resources is an employer of temporary and contract personnel placed on assignment by independent recruiters/staffing companies who choose to outsource employer of record, payroll funding, and payroll processing responsibilities. Independent recruiters utilize the services of TFI to expand their business to include temporary and contract placements while mid-size and large companies utilize TFI to increase their funding capabilities or as a resource to operate on a national basis.

TFI Resources is independently owned and operated and is not affiliated with any staffing agency, recruiting firm, or bank. TFI is currently the only payroll services company endorsed by the National Association of Personnel Services. NAPS has chosen to recognize TFI in this way because of the professionalism and integrity that TFI has demonstrated to many NAPS members.

David will help show us how to have courage to say “no” to clients, to candidates, and to eliminate time wasters. Why is this important? The proof is in the pudding: David spent 11 years at Lucas Group (one of the largest search firms in the Southeast) and worked his way up to Managing Partner. He started his own boutique search practice Youngerman Search Partners in 2009 and he routinely bills $500-600k on his own desk. It works for him and it will work for you. David loves to give back to the business and do training so please mark this on your calendar. See you next month!

Having spent twenty plus years in the executive search industry, David has learned much about what makes a strong, long-term match between his clients and candidates. Specializing in the Consumer Packaged Goods industry, David is proud to call Burt’s Bees, Kettle Foods, Craft Brewers Alliance, Seventh Generation, Energizer, General Cigar, Barilla, and Coinstar as long-term clients. Candidates and clients alike have come to appreciate David’s passion for the business, his objective view of the intangibles- which are so important to a good match- his overall sense of fairness to both parties, and his ability to facilitate a well managed process.

David’s experience in executive search began in 1989 with Atlanta-based Lucas Group, where David worked through the ranks from Recruiter to Senior Partner, and finally as a Managing Partner in the Atlanta office for six years. In December of 1999 David left to begin Youngerman Search Partners, Inc., a “boutique” firm specializing in mid-upper level searches in the Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and General Management functions. Typical YSP searches range from Senior Vice-President to Manager level and include: Senior Vice-President- Sales and/or Marketing, V.P./Director National Accounts/Customer Development, Brand/Product Management, Shopper Insights, Customer Marketing, Category Management, and Supply Chain Leaders, to name a few. Prior to entering the search industry, David spent several years in management with the Ernest & Julio Gallo Winery.

A native of Decatur, Ga., David is a proud husband and father of two. He and his family currently reside in Athens, Ga.
